Simon Cregeen – Trustee

I am a Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist (ACP) and a Couple Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist (BPC). I worked for many years in Manchester and Salford in CAMHS, and I now work privately with young people (16-26 years) and with couples. I have a particular interest in work around adoption and Looked After Children. I teach and supervise other psychoanalytic clinicians. I have a number of papers published in journals and books, and am co-author of a book on adolescent depression (Karnac 2016).

Verity Emanuel – Trustee

I am an ACP-registered Child & Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, working across both an NHS community CAMHS service and a Parent and Infant Relationship Service in South Yorkshire. I am a visiting lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University, exploring the application of psychoanalytic thinking on the emotional development of displaced children and young people.

Jana Fusekova – Trustee

I am a BPC-accredited adult psychodynamic psychotherapist and a clinical psychologist registered by HCPC. I work part-time in private practice in Manchester and in the NHS. I am a visiting lecturer on the Lancaster Clinical Psychology course and D58 & D59 in Leeds/Manchester. My particular interest in the NHS context is how one can make use of applied psychoanalytic thinking in inpatient settings when working with people with severe disturbance and in clinical leadership.

Martin Gill – Trustee

I trained as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist and then as a psychoanalyst. I am the organising tutor for the Tavistock D58 Manchester, and am active in training and in the regional development of psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic and psychodynamic psychotherapies. I work mostly in private practice as a psychoanalyst in South Manchester. I also work for Six Degrees Social Enterprise which offers IAPT step 2 interventions in Salford. I firmly believe that psychoanalysis both clinically and theoretically has much to contribute to the understanding of modern life and its vicissitudes.

Kathryn Holland – Secretary

I am an experienced adult psychotherapist working in private practice in Manchester. Since 1993 I have worked in a variety of settings including the NHS and Further Education. Between 2004 and 2021 I worked at Hampden House Psychotherapy Centre in Withington, Manchester where I was a Director.

I am registered as a psychodynamic psychotherapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and am currently in advanced clinical training at the Tavistock Clinic in London.

Dr Katharina Junejo -Treasurer

I am working in the NHS as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in a regional Adoption Service and a Looked after Children’s CAMHS Team. I have completed an additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy for children and adolescents and qualified as a Medical Psychotherapist at the Tavistock. I am interested in promoting psychoanalytic thinking across different disciplines and how it can inform clinical work within Child and Adolescent Mental Health services.

Marion Lindsay – Chair

I am a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) through Tavistock Society of Psychotherapists (TSP) and North of England Association for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (NEAPP). I have been working in private practice since 2008, and worked in the NHS as an Adult Psychotherapist from 1995 – 2014. Currently I chair Manchester Psychoanalytic Development Trust (MPDT) and North West Psychoanalytic Partnership (NWPP). Both groups are concerned with the development of psychoanalytic work in the region.
