One of the MPDT’s main aims is to ensure that trainees and students who want to learn more about psychoanalysis can access our training events, regardless of their background. We are therefore offering a limited number of funded places at our webinars and conferences.

Our longer-term ambition, if finances allow, is to offer bursaries to trainees who are undertaking a substantive psychoanalytic psychotherapy training scheme, accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council or the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (BPC/UKCP). We are very aware that training is expensive and we want to help enable trainees from under-represented groups to become part of the psychoanalytic profession.
