Journeys to the Ferryman: Psychoanalytic perspectives on end-of-life care 

 

Dr Mathew Harrison and Prof Michael Ashby  will lead the panel, and present their contributions with a rich discussion around a clinical case. Mat has worked in Palliative care in his role as Consultant in Liaison psychiatry and Medical psychotherapy ; Michael has many years’ experience in Tasmania as a Clinical lead for cancer care and will present his paper on the topic. Both will bring their shared interest in applying psychoanalytic perspectives to this complex and challenging area of work.

 

Dr Phil Osborne, Consultant Medical psychotherapist will Chair and there will be a panel discussion with the audience.
