Manchester Psychoanalytic Development Trust
We are pleased to welcome everyone, online and in person, to this Manchester Psychoanalytic Development Trust conference.
Please see below for links and attachments which will ensure all participants have an optimum conference experience. Do print these items as required, as we will not be providing printed conference packs at the event.
If you are attending the conference online, we will send you the Zoom link shortly before the event. If you don’t receive it by July 3rd, please contact us. Verity, one of our trustees, will be available from 8.45am on conference day to assist online attenders, so please do let her know if you have any problems or queries (contact details will be sent with your Zoom link).
We look forward to joining with you on 6th July

Manchester Psychoanalytic Development Trust – a 2024 update
The St Thomas Centre, has produced a useful Visitor Guide with directions, information on public transport, parking and how to contact them.
The Centre is accessible for delegates with disabilities – read their Access Statement.
Please spare a moment to complete our feedback form and help us to improve future events.
We will send a CPD certificate (via email) to all participants who attend on the day, both online and in-person.
As a result of feedback after our 2022 Conference, we’re delighted to be able to send you a link to recordings of the papers, as presented by our speakers (for privacy reasons, we will not offer recordings of Q&A or plenary sessions), as soon as possible after the event. You need to have booked your place via Ticketsource to receive the link. You’ll be able to watch at your convenience for a period of 14 days after receipt of the link.
We would draw your attention to the strict confidentiality requirements in relation to attendance at this event. Please note that by attending this event, you are accepting these terms and agree to comply with these requirements.
Participants to our events will come from many professional groups and registering bodies. We expect that everyone attending events, whether in-person or online, will adhere to the boundaries of confidentiality in relation to clinical material. This includes not repeating or sharing any confidential material, nor taking screenshots, audio, or any other electronic recording of events. We will include a statement about this on each event’s publicity and booking form, and as usual, this will be re-iterated at the event itself.
It is the responsibility of presenters at CPD events, including those at clinical seminars, to ensure that any clinical material is anonymized, with confidentiality as a priority. In some instances, presenters may be able to gain informed consent from patients. Anonymising can include using composite clinical material. If images are used, these must meet the same expectation of confidentiality, and if this cannot be met, presenters may need to describe images verbally or exclude such images from the presentation.
These actions are the responsibility of each speaker/presenter and not of MPDT Trustees. For further information, please contact us at info@mpdt.org.uk
