Faye Brierley - Trustee

I work in the NHS as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist and work across a Looked After Children’s CAMHS team and inner-city community CAMHS team. I trained at the Northern School of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy and am registered with the ACP.  I have a particular interest in developing the profile and provision of Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy within NHS CAMHS services making it more accessible to a wider range of children, young people, and families.

Simon Cregeen - Trustee

I am a Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist (ACP) and a Couple Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist (BPC). I worked for many years in Manchester and Salford CAMHS, with a particular clinical interest in Care Experienced young people and adoptive families. I now work independently with young adults and with couples. I teach internationally and supervise other psychoanalytic clinicians. I have published in journals and books, am co-author of a book on adolescent depression (Karnac 2016), and co-editor of the collected clinical papers by Margaret Rustin (Routledge 2022).  

Verity Emanuel - Trustee

I am an ACP-registered Child & Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, working across both an NHS community CAMHS service and a Parent and Infant Relationship Service in South Yorkshire. I am a visiting lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University, exploring the application of psychoanalytic thinking on the emotional development of displaced children and young people. 

Kathryn Holland -Secretary

I am an experienced adult psychotherapist working in private practice in Manchester. Since 1993 I have worked in a variety of settings including the NHS and Further Education. Between 2004 and 2021 I worked at Hampden House Psychotherapy Centre in Withington, Manchester where I was a Director.

I am registered as a psychodynamic psychotherapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and am currently in advanced clinical training at the Tavistock Clinic in London.

Dr Katharina Junejo -Treasurer

I am working in the NHS as a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in a regional Adoption Service and a Looked after Children’s CAMHS Team. I have completed an additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy for children and adolescents and qualified as a Medical Psychotherapist at the Tavistock. I am interested in promoting psychoanalytic thinking across different disciplines and how it can inform clinical work within Child and Adolescent Mental Health services.

Marion Lindsay – Chair

I am a Psychoanalyst and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, I am registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) through British Psychoanalytical Society (BPAS), and North of England Association for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (NEAPP), now a part of British Psychotherapy Foundation (BPF). I have been in private practice since 2008, and previously worked in the NHS as an Adult Psychotherapist from 1995 – 2014. I work from a consulting room in Central Manchester. Currently I chair Manchester Psychoanalytic Development Trust (MPDT) and Northern Psychoanalytic Partnership (NPP). Both groups are concerned with the development of psychoanalytic training and practice in the region.

Antony Williams - Trustee

I am a psychoanalyst in private practice in South Yorkshire. I trained at the Institute of Psychoanalysis and hold honorary Senior Lecturer status at the University of Sheffield, where I contributed to the training of Educational Psychologists for many years. I contribute to the M58 Psychodynamic Psychotherapy course delivered by The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust and am the current external examiner for the MSc in Clinical Psychotherapy at Kings College, London. I am interested in promoting the value of psychoanalytic thinking, particularly in informing an understanding of growth and development across the lifespan.
